Alignment Frustrations

It’s been a few days now trying to polar align and align my scope, but every time I have to put it away and go through the same process the next time out.

So something had to change. After looking into computer control I decided to play with Astroberry not because this is the software of my choice but because it was the first I stumbled upon.

Managed to get everything working on the first night even with my old Meade DSI cameras.

Then I discovered something truly amazing, Plate Solving. This was great, polar align hook up plate solving and sync my location to the mount and away we go.

As if it was really that easy.
