NCG 281 is also known as The Pacman Nebula
Fun Facts
- Distance from Earth – 9,200 light-years away
- Location – found in the Cassiopeia Constellation
- What is it – Bright emission nebula
- Size – about 48 light-years across
- Discovered by Edward Emerson Barnard in August 1883

The moon was nearly full but low in the sky, but I think the Baader Contrast Booster filter did a lot of work here removing the sky glow.
